OK...as you already know (thanks haupin!) 8) it's my birthday today. Hubby has ASKED me all week...."WHAT CAN I GET YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!" And all week I have been saying..."JUST TAKE ME TO THE OLD BARN!" That's not a present he would say! And I would say OH BUT YES IT IS!!!

So I got up this morning----28 degrees out! Waited and waited for it to go above freezing. About 11:30 finally made it out the door and to the old barn. Searched by the old spring behind the barn and found lots of Liberty buttons. I assume Liberty overall buttons. The man who owns the place said that back in the day people would come to the spring and wash their cloths. Guess I found the spot!

Then on over on the other side of the creek I found..........1904 Indian!!! My oldest coin so far! I could not tell what it was till I got home and ran some water over it. I am so happy! And I am also happy to have someone to share my excitement with too!!!!! Gotta run!! Time for the birthday party!!!!

Thanks yall!!!

Happy late B-Day Nana...and Merry Christmas too! Can't wait to dig my first Indian...Must have been quite NICE! The only found one I have is one my bro found in between two planks on the pier in Port San Luis...Just north of Avila Beach, Ca. Found it back in the 80's on break as a waiter...Man...I'm getting old! HH
