Can we get back to achanceforgold's topic? Pure dowsing. It's going sideways with all these frequencies and stones and generators and mumbo jumbo. I am interested in clean pure dowsing. That is what I have seen work. A fellow was able to use sticks and welding rods and coat hangers to find underground cables and water lines. Truly amazing. It doesn't seem like the mumbo jumbo dowsers are finding much. Let's stay on topic with the original poster, please.

We are trying dowsing and remote dowsing as an experiment.
The wife, really ex-wife, homed in on area of a map with two known gold mines from 1800's.
We are learning, so we may be making mistakes.
we used a background frequency a TN member supplied us,
She had gold in one hand, and she held a chain in the other.
and scanned a map.
we were surprised at the reaction of the chain spinning,
we kept zooming in to the area and she has targeted this area as the location where gold may be present.
This was over two days.
first day a larger area was targeted, second day I zoomed the maps in and she homed in on a location.
Here is what we noticed.
First day, afternoon/evening, raining outside,
Frequency, sinewave generated on her left side about two feet away where she held the gold in her hand.
She received strong reaction on the chain.
Second day,

We tried scanning a nugget directly, hidden under a cloth on the table so she could not see the nugget.
A square wave frequency was used, clear skies outside,
She approached the table and scanned it with gold in one hand, chain in the other.
No reaction...test failed, she could not locate the gold.

Later in day,
afternoon, evening, started raining outside.
went back to scanning maps.
turned off radio that had been playing in the background.
set map at location and positioned her at same location as the original day.

She received the chain spinning in the same locations but zoomed in areas.
She doesn't know how to read or look at a map.
I was placing zoomed in maps on the table, and she thought they were different places in Georgia.
Her mind works different. As far as she knew, I was showing her completely different places.
We did not go back to directly dowsing the nugget. I wish I would have under these conditions, but she was hungry and had other things she wanted to do. She's an ex-wife, so I can only push so far.
Today we received some dowsing rods from a TN member that will be used at the onsite location this Saturday.
1) We will be using her dowsing.
2) Chance's scent detecting, he's a gold sniffing dog.
3) An XP either Deus or ORX metal detector.
as mentioned, this will not be proof positive.
It is a known old mining site and runs along a gold line in Georgia.
But the chain spinning at these locations over a map is definitely unusual.
