I enjoy everyone's finds...Here are some of mine.

All this treasure (or junk to some) was found with my Whites XLT in a variety of places. Most was found at a local high school and surrounding tot lots. I have hunted some old homesites and this garnered me a 1898 IH Penny, but the silver still eludes me. Oh well, location, location and practice, practice, practice. Enjoy the pics. I sure do enjoy looking at everyone else's!

Note: A very special Thank You to MasterEagle22 for his never ending search for the best places and his hospitality while detecting. He is a friend indeed!

What variety! It's amazing how many things we use composed of some type of metal..seems like you've covered them pretty well!

Nice setup and pics also, that must have taken some time.

Wow, nice selection of just about a little of everything! My favorite has to be that clad chest..........looks like another few dollars and it may overflow......I need to find me a small treasure looking chest to put my clad in. WTG.........btw.......nice I.H., if you found that, there is surely silver somewhere in the mix. You'll hit it sooner or later.

Yeah, we all need a pirates chest full of booty to run our hands through. It makes the frustrating days seem to fade away. Thanks for your comments on the IH. It is my oldest to date. The house where I found it is very old, but the yard would drive you insane with all the trash. It also has a buried electric cable that drives my XLT :P crazy!

Nice finds. Looks like you are doing the right things. The silver will come.

I have a friend who has an XLT. He has made some good finds but last year he came out hunting with us a site where most of the good coins were 4-8" deep. We had him come over and check some signals that we knew were deep coins. He was surprised when he couldn't pick them up. However, he then made some adjustments, and some more adjustments and then he could get almost all the signals Nate and I were getting.

Bob

You wouldn't happen to know what settings you fiddled with, would you?
