As some of you know I had surgery on my right hand/wrist in late July. I figured that if I had to have the surgery, I'd schedule it in the summer when there are not as many opportunities to detect. Sunday I got out for only the second time since the surgery. I didn't set the world on fire, but I did manage to get a decent 1847 Large Cent, 5 flat buttons, and an intact suspender buckle in about 3 hours of hunting on an old standby site. It was good to get out swinging the coil and digging a few holes!
