Yes sir, after 11 months swinging the coil I found my first gold. AT PRO with a 48-50 VID reading about 2 inches down. Total weight
.65oz/19g stamped 14k. :headbang:

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but have you tested it? it looks a little dull to be real gold. Is it just stamped 14k or is there also a maker's mark on it?

I have my doubts because I recently found a 20 inch "gold" chain and it was fake. It looked similar in color to your bracelet and it was stamped 14k. Took it to a jewelry shop and they told me it was gold plated.

Where was your chain marked 14kt., many times a chain or bracelet will have a gold clasp but the rest will be gold plated, which may have been the case with your chain.

Wtg,,,,still waiting for first silver coin...have found diamond ring set in white and yellow gold, an silvey ring

It was stamped on the clasp. I don't think it's 14k, though. I just checked it and the "gold" on the clasp is bubbling up! Kind of like rust on a car. My luck, the only gold I've ever found and it was fake!

WOW!!!!!!!!Yea now thats a great find. Gota love that Jewelry. Congradulations

That melt value is about 800.00, I would hold on to it for quite a few years, the value of gold will surely go up. It's like money in the bank. I would love to find a hunk of gold like that, sweet!!!

I guess 14 k might be less, I just figured it on gold prices around 1200 a oz, doesn't really matter, I agree with earlier post, gold will surpass 2000 an oz in the future.

That is awesome!!!! Looks like you decided to make up for the gold dry spell all at once with a huge gold bracelet! You usually can tell by the feel, gold is heavy! Congrats! May this be the first of many gold finds! HH!
