Depends, if your a collector and the coin is in BU or better condition or graded and you didn't want to waste time searching ebay or CRH for a cheaper one then I would say (5) but then again I can't see the coin, it maybe a dazzler. Anyway it was your choice and if your happy with it then that's all that matters.

Not to be a little pooper but the entire mint set can be bought for .95 cents more if you keep your eyes open.

I bought the 1970-s for 7 bucks, and that was back when silver was 40+. Then, last week, I paid twice spot for a 1964 cameo proof-which is def. to much. So, I guess it really all depends on how you feel about the purchase. As they say, an items worth is what someone deems it to be.....

I bought one for my collection in 2008 for $10 because I thought I would never find in the wild. Now I have found 7 70-d and 3 70-s. You could find one in the wild.

You should have known better than to admit buying a coin in the CHR forum. Of course everyone thinks you should have waited until you found one. I bought a 1970 set a while back. I paid about $65 for it. With that set I got the 1970D Kennedy and the 1970S small date cent. Just the cent was worth the $65. That Kennedy half that you bought is the key date for Kennedy halves. The Redbook value is about $18 in MS condition. If you're a collector you did great if you're happy to have filled a hole. I know I was. I filled two.
