I Was About To Buckle...But Then...

I found five buckles yesterday, all in different spots, of course. These came from the adjoining yards of some late 1800's permission homes. My favorite, of course, is the marked "sterling" monogrammed buckle, circa 1930's-50's. I also am sweet on the tiny, brass "spectacle style" roller buckle. Two more brass buckles and one iron buckle complete the set. It was also a day for old, plated spoons! Coins found included a 1962 Quarter, an 1899 Indian Head, and 1909 and 1955 Wheaties. Thank you Inspector! Unfortunately, the initials on the buckle did not match the names of the families that lived at the residence over the last 75 years...
