ive been slowy search cwr and teller trayers for halves and i sometimes try pennies. Any ideas for other things to try for? ikes? also any idea for searching for old currency?

I've recently started dabbling in dimes. Most of the banks around here have them in the clear plastic rolls, so they are pretty easy to search without even opening the roll. This also makes dumping easier since there is minimal re-rolling (very few counters around here) and most banks are less weary about accepting unopened MWRs.

Buy all Ikes. My dealer pays 1.10 each ike. If they have halves buy them all, dont make a scene about searching them. (as long as you have the funds). You can generally spot a silver a mile away in a teller tray Just ask to see that row fo coins(each denomination has rows of $1 so the teller can make change quicker). Otherwise a box of chocolates and a nice smile does the trick
