INCINERATOR FIND (UPDATE)

Found this when demolishing a Model T-type garage, bunkhouse and incinerator to make room for a parking lot behind our office.

This is a cast iron fender or bumper mount 'Auto Club' emblem most likely dating from the early 1900's...there is a threaded stud that has been sheared flush to the bottom.

Cannot find any recorded history, but probably a forerunner to today's AAA

well i also dug one of these out of the ground today metal detecting my local park witch dates back to 1901 it was about 5 inches deep , and here is what i have found out about it
