Interesting Sterling (seal?) ring

Hey everyone! When I went out a few days ago w/ D-Dub and TreasureFiend, I also found this neat ring which I forgot to get on tape. It was also just under the surface where I found that SLQ on the surface. It is marked "STERLING" with an "IR" in a diamond. Looks to be either Onyx or Opal, and the bust is of

Looks like it is one of those rings to stamp seals with, but I don't know. Probably just made to imitate one of those... Regardless, I am very happy with this ring and would like to share it with you guys, since I forgot to get it on tape. Enjoy and HH! :thumbsup:

Great find buddy, glad I got to see it in person! Yea I got to dig out the ring I found 2 years ago, it has the same greek/roman head on it but mine is a junk ring but the face is a silver inlay.

Okie I just got home now and snapped a pix, they aren't identical but they are close enough. Mine is also a reverse image like a wax seal/stamp (image is recessed into the silver)
