The local park as produced so many coins, that gold had to eventually turn up. I was though expecting maybe a gold ring. When this 1890 queen Victoria gold sovereign, came gleaming from below the turf, I didn't complain. The signal just sounded like any copper coin. Robert.

A gold coin is on the top of 99% of most metal detectorist's bucket lists! And probably just a tiny amount will ever find one in the their life. Awesome find! I hope I can find one, but I highly doubt it
