A nail, a copper square(?) and a tiny coin - perhaps a pistereen??

The coin cleaned up a little - from what I can make out with my loupe its 1799.

Try a couple of ways to clean it. I've read where you can put it in some water and freeze, then let it thaw out, it might bring out the details. I sometimes boil mine in Hot Water with a drop of Dish detergent, then scrub with a tooth pick, If all fails, get some (4 ) Number oooo Steel Wool and it should bring back some of the details--Good Luck--goldnugget

Nice coin BVI... Boy you just slipped into the 1700's era but you made it. I'm still digging horseshoes.... Hell I'd be excited over an iron today!!!! Later, Brad
