We Lost our Earliest Posts Due to a Major Crash, But I think 1990's was the Beginning
Back then you could change your name every time you Posted & each Time Put in a Fake Email Address.
I Didn't have my own Computer back then so I would use Friends & Library Computers
and Type no [email protected] or @library.com, etc to get in and use My real whole name
I remember discussion on 2000 Fear ( Y2k) :tongue3: {not the cause of the crash here :laughing9:

I Do remember Dell winders was Here back then & upsetting the LRL Naysayers already :laughing7:
he may have been member #3 or #4 when Registration started. pretty sure Carl-NC was Close behind.

I Wrote a Complaint to Marc about a spammer in about 2003/4
And he asked me if I wanted to be a Moderator of TreasureNet. and
Tommy Vawter became Moderator of the Shipwreck Forum
The rest is History :hello:

I was a member waaay back in the 1990s, kinda got out of the hobby for a decade or so, and recently rejoined. I have no idea what my old username was or if it is still registered.

Its backed up in the archives of the way, way back machine.
I don't understand why y'all were led to believe that it isn't backed up, heck its still online, you just have to know where and how to access the Apache server it is sitting on.

Why isn't the 2a forum gone ?
Its still here and that's all I'm divulging about what I remember from the beginning which was way, way back before any of the current membership, mods included.
