Had one of those "Paleo" hunts today! Me and a buddy went to my Folsom site where I found a really nicely made Folsom base, a Folsom preform tip and another graver. There was a few other odds and ends but I didn't bother taking any pictures.
After that we stopped by another one of my good spots and I scored a really nice 2½" Agate Basin.

Nothing any sweeter then taking a hunt as far back as you can go. Fantastic hunt.
Thanks Tn! I love Paleo hunting! It is really tough hunting but the rewards are pretty high up there. I tend to find a lot more stuff at my Archaic sites compared to my Paleo sites.

That Agate Basin is just plain awesome.

But that Folsom base is world class example, Lindenmeier Folsom quality.
Thanks josh! That base is easily the nicest piece of a Folsom I've found yet!

Very cool finds. That Folsom base is spectacular. Shows the flaking really well. And the Agate Basin, wow!!

Those are some great finds. Not to often things aren’t frozen in up there.

I suppose you guys are pretty dry too tho.

That's a top shelf piece for sure, congrats on the beauty.

That Folsom was huge and would have been one of the finest examples I can dream up made of the finest material. The complete paleo is really sweet.

I looked back at your past finds from the site and see a couple fragments that look really close to the material and work on this base. Have you tried them to see if you have a fit?
