well i broke it in half trying to carry it back to the car. one of the teeth all the bone broke off of it.

Awesome find, Steve...what part of Texas are you from....would really like to walk some of the streambeds and creeks in the area...always up for a roadtrip....lol

about 100pounds i forgot my shoes and had to walk about a 1/4 mile in water mud sand shell and by a couple of theese guys.my back hurt for 2 days.seen this gator the same day

That's really nice! congrats on your find. I know what you mean about gators. I went diving in the Edisto river this past weekend and before we got in, I came up on a 4 foot gator and when we were in, one of the other guys accidently touched one, LOL I say "accidently" because visability was low and he thought it was a log until to swam away when he touched it. He wanted out of the river after that! LOL
