March Madness! She Scores!!!!

[cntrydncr1]

Today I hunted a ball field that I've hit 5 times over the last few weeks. I keep thinking that it is possible it has not been hit hard by anyone because I've found silver every time I've been there. Here are my totals to date:

Clad 352
Wheaties 36
Silver dimes 8

Drum roll......REALE!!!! found today

I"ve measured it and believe it to be a 4 reale and it is in pretty nice condition. This is my first spanish silver and I can't believe this coin came from this ballfield!!!!

Found about 3-4" down with my Etrac and rang up at 12-45.

You may be the ONLY Tnet member to have ever dug a 4 Reales denomination Spanish.

Congratulations. That IS March Madness!

Cheers,

very nice. stuff like this always makes me feel like Charlie Brown on halloween...... "all I got was a zinc penny... " but I doubt there is much spanish silver here in kansas. Congrats !!
