merc vs. rosie

ok so my question is how many rosies do you guys find to mercs? i dont know how you guys down in the lower 48 find so many mercs i have only ever found 4 and they all come from the same roll in a CWR. i have found well over 200 rosies but no mercs.

Alaska didn't even become a state until 14 years after the last Mercury Dime was minted. Maybe there is a connection. It is possible the first boatload of dimes to Alaska were Roosevelts not Mercurys. Things that make you go Hmmm. JP

I'm presently at 127 Mercs and 743 Roosies.....averages out to about 1 Merc for every 6 Roosies.

Of the 50 or so silver dimes I have found only one has been a merc. But I did get a merc back in change before I started this hobby. So I have found 2 mercs in the wild and about 50 rosies..

8.52:1 ratio...Rosies to Mercs. Just got another today

I think I have nearing 400 something rosies and 30+ mercs, so I'm almost 10-1.

That said I had a streak with a ton of mercs in my boxes but it seems that the winged guardian has started disappearing from my boxes...I haven't found one in a month or so.

Man you guys have some pretty good averages on those i actually cant believe it is that good for you all. WOW man i wish every 10th one i found was a Merc. it is my second favorite coin my first favoirte is the walking liberty half.
