Correct, so until we all agree that Bitcoin has actual worth (which will never happen), it's just a Ponzi scheme.
I'd argue that it does have actual worth. Hell, you yourself mentioned $6k earlier in this very thread. Where did you get that figure from, and what does it imply?
I already left society before and will leave again but I don't have to explain that to "Some stranger on the internet."
Yet you felt the need to mention it to multiple strangers on the internet. We're only discussing it because you brought it up.
Didn't bring up my post count to compete with you as I wasn't even looking at your post count.
Neither was I, until you raised the subject.
You may want a cashless society and for simple math to be scrapped from schools but the bottom line here on a metal detecting forum is this......
We don't want to see coins eliminated! We enjoy going out and finding them and at the end of the day do you know what we do?
Did I ever say that I wanted a cashless society? I merely stated that it's on the way. (In fact, it's mostly already here.) I then explained why. I also went on to make a case for when cashless transactions make a lot more sense than cash does, and some others provided examples of when cash makes more sense. To be honest, I'm fine with where we're at right now. Consumers have multiple options for buying things, depending on the specific conditions of the sale and what they're comfortable with. I don't think that it's going to stay like this forever though.
As a metal detectorist, I'd actually like to see more coins in circulation, not less. And I'd like to see coins with higher denominations in circulation - not just because of my hobby, but also because it would save the government money. That's why I went on my little rant earlier about $1 coins.
I realize this is getting a bit off topic, so this is my last post about it.
What specifically is "the mark?" There seems to be some confusion about it, even on this very thread. See below.
Could it be the Socialist Security Number that is illegal to be used as ID but is anyway?
No, it couldn't be. According to T.C. and the Bible, you are not allowed to buy or sell without the mark. Is a SSN required to buy or sell things?
