Minelab vanquish 540 beach performance

I have been watching a lot of videos on the Minelab vanquish 540. It has Multi-IQ frequencies like the Equinox. Is the vanquish an underrated machine or it cannot compare to the equinox 800. It is a lot cheaper but may not work well on wet sand. Has anyone used on of these on wet surf sand?

Haven't used the 540 (I have 2 800s) but because it is multifrequency there shouldn't be any issues w wet salt-water sand or a few feet of salt water. Nevertheless, I too am interested in the personal performance of the 540 in salt water in terms of stability and sensitivity to small gold.

Works just as well as the Equinox on wet saltwater sand!

The 540 seems very stable. Amazing technology for the price.

The Vanquish is not waterproof, and doesn't have the adjustability that the Equinox has. Otherwise it's a good wet salt sand machine.
