I had to travel out of town and decided to take the opportunity to hit a few banks on the way back. I had been to all of these banks previously. None had ever produced much, and I can't say that has changed. Altogether I drove ~185 miles (~60-65 of which I would have driven anyway) stopping at 27 banks in 9 different towns. I found a total of $1010 worth of halves to buy which produced 12 40% and 2 1964 Kens, 1 of which was a proof. Not the accented hair variety unfortunately, but it was my first pre-1965 proof. No big score by any stretch of the imagination, but I did enjoy the day while adding a bit of silver to the pile.
