''Good for you''! That is a beautiful knife, and happy for you. :notworthy:

Wow Rock!…That is the way to start 2015. Awesome knife/point…so thin too..sounds like a great hunt!

That is an incredible find. I am happy for you! Hopefully that is an indication of how your year is going to be.

Very nice couldn't ask for it to happen to a better guy looks like a cobbs but it would be an old one for sure NOTWORTY !!!!

Great One!

I think I would have been inspired to keep hunting!

I didn't even know what I had at the beginning when I found it. Thought it was a flaker put it in my pocket. Later I pulled it out to have a look and it had wiped the dirt off while in my pocket and I saw it. I did find some other stuff. Here is the frame worthy stuff. Quartz just wont take clear pic so check them out. The scraper use to be a blade tip repurposed to a scraper thought that was neat.

The more I look at it it maybe a paleo blade just a thought

:o....Wow...that's great rock...and a big one to!:icon_thumleft: I can't imagine finding one that large! What color is that a grey or black? Maybe I should read what else is posted about it before I post this...oh well. :laughing7:

Nice find Rock! I would say knife also.Looks like maybe it was hafted and resharpened....Nice way to start the new year...mjm

Yes it is a knife I believe. It has a small short stem and a hafting section at the base. The flaking looks older than what I usually find. Its my best to date. Most of the ones I find are small due to being sharpened to a nub. I was happy to find it and its in a safe place now.
