Today was one of my best trips in the fields yet. The grass is at least 12 inches tall now. It wont be plowed till the fall so I am trying to go as often as possible. With all the rain the grass is really growing and it is hard to see the ground so I am sure I missed some.
I usually pick somebody from the site when I go hunting to shoot some pics to. I really dont know the names of these and when I send some pics I get some fast results that way. I choose GatorBoy today. I talk to everyone on the site by the way. We all have disagreements at times and we get upset sometimes with each other but we can makeup and forgive each other. I dont repeat anything I hear just in case anyone cares. Hope you like and enjoy these as much as I do. Thanks, rock
Oh if you know the names please tell!
I have more but I am tired and I believe this is all the arrowheads, might be more in my bucket IDK.

I don't think that's a flute. If this arrowhead was larger, that flute wouldn't be there. It's b/c the base has been wore down. I'm not 100% sure but I believe thats what I see. It has attributes, like the serrations and the twist, that some Bolens have.

Yeah it might just be a thinning flake removed from both sides. Now I did see another point that is Cherokee and its a Ecusta. The one they made is very close to the Bolen so I am not sure now. Your rite it is very small. Ill flip a coin, lol

Update on the types.
Quartz, Swannanoa Point 3200-2200 B.P.
Small grey triangle, Camp Creek 3000-1500 B.P.
Larger Triangle with ears, Eared Yadkin 2400-1700 B.P.
Last one either Beveled Bolen or Ecusta both are Early Archaic period.

This is a little out of my area but it has the bevels that a Bolen would have. The flute you are referring to is what is considered a basil thinning, It is common to make it easier to haft. IMO

Rock, Thank you for the warm welcome! The Gorget you referred to is a very good possibility, another would be pendant. You had an awesome day! Thanks I enjoyed it.

Thanks for the I.D. I am still looking for that fluted point. The closest I have gotten is a Dalton but it was just the base. So many broken pieces in a field that gets plowed. Maybe Ill be able to do a hunt Friday. Thanks again, rock

Maybe when we hunt in Ala later this year we will get in some mixed time zones? I found a beaver lake in the area we are going and a Dalton colbert? I think colbert is right. Tons of tools.

OK if it ever stops raining. I drove by the river today and you cant even see the banks. Water must be 6-10 ft higher than normal. I am sure they turned on the flow from the dam like everyday but it is still allot higher than normal. They are calling for more rain Fri and Sat. here. By July I will probably be asking for rain due to the heat.
