Today was one of my best trips in the fields yet. The grass is at least 12 inches tall now. It wont be plowed till the fall so I am trying to go as often as possible. With all the rain the grass is really growing and it is hard to see the ground so I am sure I missed some.
I usually pick somebody from the site when I go hunting to shoot some pics to. I really dont know the names of these and when I send some pics I get some fast results that way. I choose GatorBoy today. I talk to everyone on the site by the way. We all have disagreements at times and we get upset sometimes with each other but we can makeup and forgive each other. I dont repeat anything I hear just in case anyone cares. Hope you like and enjoy these as much as I do. Thanks, rock
Oh if you know the names please tell!
I have more but I am tired and I believe this is all the arrowheads, might be more in my bucket IDK.

hey rock... the three points that seem to me like I could call something...are the two triangles that would probably be called pinellas points down here... mabey madison where you are and the notched one that looks like a Jackson of the same age. great day man.
Drilled pottery too... nice find. this is just my take... mabey im way off.

Great hunt Rick. I would call the 4th one a Hamilton if found here. It looks like you have narrowed down the area for when they plow. The pottery you found in your other post tells me you have a good habitation site. Congratulations and good luck.

The last one that is drilled is stone by the way. Probably a broken Gorget.

Wow just looked this one up. Its a Bolen Beveled or a Ecusta. I believe Bolen though due to the flaking on the left like it is described. It dates 9k B.P. If its a Ecusta then its 8000-5000 B.P.

Here's a Bolen that I have. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw that one. The base looks really similar, but it may not have the twist mine has.

Congratulations on those finds Rock!! Looks like some real nice pieces. I really like the quartz one and that Bolen is awesome!! I have found some good ones in wheat fields after the wheat is up about 5 or 6". In rows but still hard to spot. Can't imagine how hard it is to spot in a grassy field. Good job!! Keep those pics coming. I enjoying seeing your finds. Hope you find a whole bunch more....
