2012 is turning out pretty darn good! Took a 10 minute break and hunted near my old school. My very first signal and I found myself a 1908s Barber Half Dollar! My very first! WOO HOO! It's got a tiny nick but only seen on the back side!

Bev awesome job. I only found one in about 20 years of detecting. BTW where in RI are you? I go to Newport a couple times a year.
 
I'm in kent county but I have been invited to Newport in the next few weeks!
 
Not sure where that is...I am in NY and travel to Foxwoods usually once or twice a month.
 
I'm sort of in the middle of the state. Lots of great places around here if you look closely!

I was pretty excited! It was along the base of a stone wall. Dont overlook those stone walls!
