Need help identifying several rocks I found in various parts of Clark County Nevada

These samples were found just north of the Keystone and Chaquita Mine just west of Goodsprings, Nevada.


These two I believe are similar in composition to one another. I simply ground and polished the edge on one of the samples. These were found in crystalized sheets on the outside exposed face of bedrock in a wash about 3 miles south of Mountain's Edge in Las Vegas, NV.


The top two in this segment are actually the same sample as the one I ground down and polished above. I'm not sure where I found the last one.....some where in Clark County possibly down by Nelson.

Try taking pics in natural daylight, it helps. And the rocks should always be pictured dry.

I do see one that looks like porphyry.

There are many properties of the rocks that are obscured by interior lighting and/or flash and/or water

#1 is typical Nevada chrysocolla
#2 is breccia
#4 is hematite
#5 looks like oxidized pyrite, cubic (check for magnetism on 4 & 5)
#s 6 has what looks like octahedrons, could be octahedral pyrite or marcasite (oxidized)
