Well after getting a Roman Silver & hammered yesterday, I was bedding in for a tough day. However, on my first run & my first find (dug a few bits of rubbish) was a tiny Gold Celtic coin. My 5th Gold Coin this year (our 6th) :icon_thumright: Took me 20 years to get my first Celtic Gold, now Dad & I have had 5 in the last 2 years :o
We have done this land many times & its full of junk from an old WWI era allotment, we keep clearing the junk every year & it has finally paid of. This coin is no bigger than 10mm.
(10 man hours)Dad & I.

Quarter Stater of Tasciovanus
Circa 15-10BC
[T]ASC in tablet
Pegasus reverse

How are we going to beat this year ::)

Wow! awesome find. What I wouldn't give for a week or so of detecting across the pond. Nice find.

It was bad enough not being able to keep track of your posts, now I can't even keep track of your gold! Can't imagine what your year post will look like. :headbang:

Try living there, not working for 6 months and not being into the hobby at the time and come back (then getting into it) and think about all the opportunities you missed, and you got CRUSADER throwing out posts like this week after week! IM IN HE((!...nice coins mang!

WOW, spectacular!

I did manage to get out today before work, and found, clad. Oh well, the dynamic schnauzer duo had fun enjoying the 1st sunny day we've had in about 2 weeks.

Thanks for sharing...

Wow, I would be thrilled with those cool buttons.... :sign13: Does anyone else think that Crusader needs a separate banner just for his finds? I can't keep them all straight :notworthy:
