I found this in Sutherland Springs,TX near Cibolo Creek along with projectiles and many scrapers and hammers It`s definatly been worked so beside the obvious what is it.

I would like to hear how you guy explain not just one effigy but the whole piece is full of them. Open the part that has the 8 on it above it is the rabbit. It's ears are laying down. That is a treasure sign. The 8 means it's the kings. There are other signs as well on it I will discuss with you. You need to read up on the symbolism of the animals. You can find them in the cache hunting, signs and symbols of treasure, Jesuit tread and many more. Stone maps,legends of of stone maps. Maybe some of these guys can learn.with you.

Well this "tread" is going nowhere. But for now on I'm gonna start keeping every rock I find. With my 1/2 mile long driveway I'm gonna be rich by sunday. I just hope the gravel um sorry maps don't point me back to work on monday.

My Take- FWIW - BWB finds a rock. Doesn't want to soil his street cred so he invents 'Pear Rat' to find it for him. Doesn't matter why- it's still a rock.

Jeff very good . Are those your stones? It a nice collection. Do you know the meaning of the figures on it. You will see the figures of each animal on the site. No matter which site you visit. Learn what they mean will help you find the place they represent.

If you want to collect rocks feel free, but don't tell us that collect artifacts to lie and tell you or a new member a rock is an artifact just to keep from hurting your feelings... I have only been collecting 33 years, there are members here with far more years of experience than I finding and collecting real artifacts.

Using your criteria every single rock found is an artifact.

So your math don't fly with me. What state you in so next time I'm in your area I would gladly show you just how.wrong you are. I don't care how many years you've been collecting points. There are new discoveries everyday. Dont.keep yourself limited to your teachings. Be willing to learn new things. It not my imagination. It your lack of perceptions. Why does everyone get so angry when opinions don't meet with their expectations?

If someone offers an opinion you disagree with, why not just politely say you disagree and be happy with that?

If I look at the stone under discussion and I conclude that it doesn't look like anything other than a natural stone, that's my honest opinion. It isn't offered to insult you.. or to insult the original poster.. it is just my honest opinion. Why take it personally?

Because I go though this everytime I say something from so called experts that have no experience with this type of artifacts. I'm not the type to lay down when I'm right. If I'm wrong then I will admit it. Working with this everyday I do believe I have an advantage. I spend at least 40+ hrs. A week on this stuff and I'm retired. I would like to spend more time showing a point instead of defending it. It requires time to do it and this is not the only person I'm working with
