Hello everyone,
Been seeing alot of nice finds once again here on tnet. Been a bad yr here in Pa weather wise. Rainy and humid with a ton of bugs this yr. Has made it a really miserable season so far. I just try to decide on a productive area to search while I am out.
Been hitting a older large park and it always gives some old coins. Pulled out 17 old coins in about 2 hrs or so last weekend. The heat and bugs gets to you quickly. So does the large coil. Ended up with a nice silver to wheat ratio lately.
Nothing real old though. One indian head and it was a 187? something. To bad I love the 70's. It was down deep at a old site where I think a home sat at one time. I tested this area and found a washington and a merc in the same hole.
The coolest find from the site was this large piece of silver that used to be the top part of a old change purse. It is marked and says german silver. There is a well on the site and a bunch of orchards but no home I think a cabin once stood here. Gonna go back in the fall when it dies down.
Here is a rundown of the finds
3 barber dimes 1893 S semi key date down about 9 inches on a path 1907 fine to extra fine 1911 fine to extr fine.
16 Wheat cents
4 old jeffersons 40's dates
1 1922 pgh railways token
3 merc dimes 1917 1927 1935
1 rosie 1960
1 1942 washington same hole as 17 merc.
Thanks for looking and reading. Hope you all like the pics and finds. Hope to be back soon with more to share. Can't wait till the fall.

I have yet to find a barber this year. Nate and I haven't gotten out that much. Nate has been working full time (painting houses) and I have been busy with work. Also had a big graduation party for Nate. We just sent his DFX in for repair - screw came loose causing ribbon cable to the display to malfunction.
