I also say there is nothing wrong with seed hunts. The thread referred to even says it was a seed hunt. The poster was excited by their "finds"... and yes they are still finds. Not all the targets in a seed hunt are found so there is a genuine aspect to such activities. Censoring such things is a pretty foolish idea when one puts in the light of what we all seem to come here for... community and conversation.
So it bends one out of shape to see a gimme every once in a while. Got to admit even for a gimme it was pretty impressive. No need to expound on how hard one works or how difficult it is to get on some bonified finds. We have all been there so have an open heart for goodness sake.
Those of us who are serious about it, as you appear to be, understand your point. But do ya honestly have to go ranting about it and using the C word?
Man'O'War:
Now for a bit of constructive criticism about your thread.... having been a moderator in various forums over the years you could be helpful in the future, and waste less of other members time scrolling and reconciling your arguments, by understanding and using the Edit Functions available to you in your thread and posts.
You have duplicate posts, usually a no no. After you post you are probably reading the thread again... you see the error.. so delete the duplicate post... saves us time scrolling. How to do it, be logged in~ click on the duplicate post and select Delete post.
Next is your repeated posts which are all pretty much in line with each other in which you feel your carrying on the same conversation line as the first post. Use the Edit Key in the bottom of that post and put additional comments in to the original post. This saves us time and allows us to reconcile your argument in one bite instead of little bitty chunks.
I know I would appreciate the effort.
Question to myself.... have I wasted my time posting and reading this post? No. But it did take away from my enjoyment of the argument. Even if it was a bit inflammatory.

note I have used the edit function after review to clarify who I am directing my thoughts at.
