✅ SOLVED Olympic gold pin having trouble figuring out the year it was from and what it may have been given out for.

Posted this find not long ago looked around for info on it but have hit blanks. Even posted it in a Olympic pin collection group on FB and even the administrator of it didn't have an answer for me just that it was probably something interesting. I've looked all over to try to get information but just failing to find out much about it. I know if anything can be figured out it will be on here some people here have a real talent of digging into things. If it helps it was found in Merced California. As always thank you to anyone that looks and attempts to help.
