I dug a signal yesterday, and it had the low, high, low sound. I thought it was a bottle cap (sounded like it in iron audio) The but VDI showed 78-81 @ 6 inches. When I dug it ,I first got a tiny piece of alum can slaw, but there was more in the hole, according to the Pro Pointer,so I dug a little deeper, and found a nail. I removed it,and then got another reading in the hole. About 1 inch deeper in the hole I found a quarter!

The iron, and can slaw caused the VDI to read a little lower,on the quarter. I was using "Zero" Pro Mode, with the iron discrimination set at 25. I think this is my favorite mode on the ATP so far. This was with the stock 8.5X11 DD coil,I have the 5X8 coil coming, and can hardly wait to try it out. When I first got the ATP I had a few "concerns" about it,but now after putting around 70hrs. on it,I've found most of them were "operator error"! There IS a learning curve,on it! Once the "lingo",and proper settings, sinks in,it gives out more information, than a fat kid caught stealing candy at the five and dime store!LOL!
