C'mon gator. You've got the warm temperature and an open beach and river. Up here, we got sub freezing temperature and my only river is under two feet of snow.

Hey man..
The water level is good again.
That big downpour we had about 2 weeks ago really washed out the banks in some places..
I'm using waders the water is a bit nippy.

Dang dude! That antler is beyond awesome! I've never seen a fossilized deer antler fragment that big from the peace! Incredible Megalodon tooth too!

Thanks guys I have found several antler sections but nothing close to that big... And they're usually pretty marred up.
Crazy how I found that one.. A humongous blue claw crab was very interested in what I was doing ...as I was trying to scoot him away with my probe he hid behind something sticking up about three inches that I thought was a branch for a moment.
Then I saw an odd texture and lack of algae or that "slimey" look of wet wood ....so I just thought I would tap it with my metal probe.. That's when I heard that telltale "tink"
It didn't come out very easy I had to dig around a little and wiggle it as I pulled to break the suction.

Thanks for looking this last one looks like it could be just a large Sand Tiger I guess ... But something about it reminds me of a precursor Mako I'm not sure if they exist in the formation of the Peace River.
Late Oligocene to early Miocene

first pic looks like mako, but the angle in other pics has me confused, never seen a mako curved like that
