Mornin' folks!

Had one heck of a crazy morning already. I walked to the dump by myself to go digging for a while (walking distance from the house), and found diddly squat. While I was taking a break, I heard someone walking on the road just five feet ahead of me. I noticed a teen girl from the town, walking towards an already heavily tagged 1800's railroad bridge, with a can of spray paint. I couldn't let that beauty of a bridge be tagged again by some punk, so I stealthily crawled out of the hole, and snuck into the woods just out of her sight.

I have been hunting for years now, and I am good at stalking stealthily. Anyways, I got to the bridge before her. I was sitting on top looking down the road when she came into view. She never saw me. She got to the bridge, and began shaking the can to get ready to tag it. I jumped down from the bridge, scared the ever livin' !@#$ outta her, and just stood there looking as menacing and crazy as I could. She stood there silent, holding the can. I looked at it, and said "Gimme that thing. Let me show you what you are supposed to do". She gave it. I dug into my pocket, handed her two bucks, and proceeded to snap off the spray button. "Here's a two bucks, go git yerself a donut. If I ever catch you, your friends, or anybody else tagging, marking or destroying any part of this bridge again, I won't be as nice. Now scram." Scram she did.

It was the Anthracite region version of "scared straight". I feel like a total jerk, but I did keep that bridge from getting tagged again.

I think I know why she ran like hell too, lol! I had no shirt, I was covered in coal, ash and dust, and I looked a little pi$$ed off.

I just got back actually. Didn't quite feel like tellin' my dad that I stopped a bridge tagger by staging a "hold up" of sorts, lol!

LOL sounds like the beginning of one of those teenage, summertime, love story movies!

Good morning crew mates.

RR it's good you stopped her from tagging the bridge.
The way you looked she may have thought you were a homless troll that lives under the bridge.
Be a little careful in that area for a while.

WD thats an awesome thing you doing for the veterans.
And if theres Spanish silver on the property next to yours...maybe yours is the one with gold! You never know.

I’m going to have to screenshot everything. They can’t seem to find the posts. :laughing7: We are in our own little world on this thread!

As Uncle suggests , be careful.
Next time she might be shaking a big can of bear spray!

The good news is that I m NOT afraid of these "coal punks". I have had past experiences with them, and they have run like heck each time. I remember I found a small group of these "punks" in an old abandoned strip mine, looking for parts of old machinery to grab. I stood on the top of the hill looking down, and yelled the loudest rebel yell I could do. They dropped everything and ran, tripped, and pushed each other out of the way to get the heck outta there! lol!

WD, No love movies. This chick looks like she had seen illicit substances before.

hopefully one day. A "group" of them don't try to stand and fight

off to do the daily chores bbl

I'll be traveling home tomorrow. Hopefully I don't get hit with storms on the way down.

The key to a situation like that is the element of surprise, take out the leader, and if all else fails, run! I run pretty fast,...
