So you like to drool do you ?............ Tonight's dinner :)

Bart,So where you at now? Hudson river ?

Heading into Manhattan, passing under the Staton island bridge now. We'll stay at liberty landing on the jersey side. Very close to lady liberty !!

Almost make you sick looking at such a city.

I will take the bush, austere environment, area of conflict or war zone any day of the week over that.

"Your badge........ show him your F*****g BADGE!!"

....

Bill, you made my day!

I LOVE IT !! :laughing7:

Here is an other one (hope I can translate it well...not so easy)

in the 1800´s 3 guys (a German, a Turk and a Russian) get´ lost in the Wild West in an prohibited native Indian area.
They get caught by the Indians and be brought to the chief.
The chief said to them, regularly every white get´s killed who enters our area but I have a good day so if you pass 3 tests, I will set you free.
So the tests are this: you have to go in the first Tippi and drink a bottle of our self made moonshine whiskey.
Than you have to go into the next Tippiy and you have to :censored: our oldest woman 3 times in a row.
In the last Tippi you have to fight against a huge grizzly bear and break one of his arms.

Ok, the test starts and the Turk goes into the first Tippi and drinks the bottle moonshine. He steps out and drops death.
As next the German goes into the first Tippi, drinks the bottle, step out and stumble into the next Tippi. A loud screaming for 5 minutes, the German steps out and drop´s death too.
Than the Russian starts and step into the Tippi with the moonshine. He comes out completely drunk and stumbles directly into the 3rd Tippi. A loud screaming for one and a half an hour before he steps out naked and ask the chief: OK Dude....now where is the damn Tippi with the old lady I have to fight and break her arm ??

:laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: Hope you get it !

Oddjob,

I know when I travelled to NYC on business I'd guess buzzed out by all the activity and after 3 days or so had to leave to maintain what little sanity I had left....lol.

Regards + HH

Bill

Folks,

Time for another of my foolish stories and since there has been some posts about NYC thought the timing was right.

Our sales rep covering NYC convinced me to go to the annual traffic club dinner in Manhattan. Well if any of you know the Shakespeare play called MacBeth, there was a scene where MacDuff brought back MacBeths head to the king for being disloyal.

Well that happens to be my family name(the spelling is a bit different though), well when Dave took me around to meet everyone we exchanged business cards with various people and one of them was a lady with a last name of MacBeth.

I told her she was safe since I left my sword back in Canada.....lol.
