RTR, is it not better to use a stainless steel grid? I think this stuff will bent down if you fill it with stuff.

I used a 5 mm steel grid but if some kilos of material goes in, it also bent a little bit.

Yeah I thought about using it.But folding up the sifter for transport,many times would probably weaken any metal/steel mesh screening at the fold area .
