Rare! I think, Kentucky state civil war button

They have been tearing up the sidewalk in my neighborhood and I've benn finding civil war bullets, buttons, Indian head penny's and some silver. But this is the best find yet. Right in front of my house. It says united we stand, divided we fall

A CW Period Kentucky State Seal is a very good button and yours is in great shape. I can't make out the backmark from your picture, but you can compare it to these.

Now that's a button. Man that's awesome. I found a virginia state seal button the other day. Nothing close to that shape. But I was wondering your cleaning methods if you dont mind me asking
