Great job! Would never have known you were away from painting for 20 years… Who doesn’t like happy little trees!I was a certified Bob Ross instructor, but I stop teaching over 20 years ago when I moved back to Florida. I use to paint a lot, but I haven't painted in years due to life and job requirements.
I recently decided to try it again and I painted a new painting, I am rusty for sure but considering how long it has been I wasn't too disappointed with the results, lots of room for improvement too.

Maybe in the summer. I was just visiting with a woman from Alaska yesterday, who told me it was 30 below in Anchorage last week. 😱That one makes me wanna go to Alaska again! lol

Thanks for compliment. My name says it all. Just don't post here anymore. Some that thought they knew better but didn't. I proved them wrong and I left. I'm the only person on treasure net that I know of who truly found a Rolex watchI had no idea this forum had an arts and crafts section lol! Nice
I appreciate art, I really do. I'm a pretty talented leather worker as is my partner, I haven't posted any of my work here because I didn't even know we had such a thread going. I may in the future, I make some pretty neat gear. Your work is great man! Thanks for compliment. My name says it all. Just don't post here anymore. Some that thought they knew better but didn't. Well it looks like you retain much skill in that department. My creative pursuits ebb and flow with time or need. I've always got my hands tied up in some hobby so in many ways it's all in the bag.I'm retired so I do have some spare time and I enjoy painting. Both of the scenes are just out of my head.
I really regret my 21 year layoff from painting now, can't help but wonder how my skills would have been if I had painted just a couple times a month for the 21 years I missed.
My brother is a famous comic book artist, his skills increased 100 fold over the last 21 years.
