Hello everyone! Today was a honey do day. I finished my chores late this afternoon so I loaded my gear and took off to the fort. I only had about an hour of light left and the first 55 minutes were uneventful. As I was walking back to my truck I picked up a weak signal. I got down about a foot and pulled out this 1831 capped bust half dime. It’s been awhile since I pulled out one of these.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all.

That’s a great Capped Bust for sure. I just found an 1837, but it was a grey beach find; yours is spectacular. Congrats!

Congratulations on the half dime. They are pretty hard to find. You're doing fantastic on your fort site!
