I went back to my last permission today. It's where I dug the Barber Half last Saturday.
My first target was a 1964-D Rosie, :hello2: then a wheat, and the the third target rung up as a quarter.
I finally found my 1st SLQ. :headbang: She Finally Jumped Under My Coil !!! It's a No Date, but I don't care. Later I dug the 1947 Rosie. :hello: I also pulled 15 wheats (1929-56-D), a 1971 Kennedy half, 1948 nickle, and a 1960 Canadian nickle.
I dug the 3 dog tags and keys, neat find, :icon_thumleft: now I need to see if I can find him or his relatives. They are post WWII since his serial number is longer.
A few other cool digs were the crotal bell (another 1st), the neat Tootsie toy truck, 2 rings (1 junk and a sterling), a Shell Antique Car Coin, and a junior sheriff badge. The spoon was 4 inches deep and made of stainless steel.

This has been a virgin place. Six silvers, 1 buffalo, 35 wheats, and some cool finds. I told JR (the owner) that I'd buy him a six pack. I figure it's the least I could do for the guy since I dug THREE bucket listers in back - to - back hunts in his yard. 1st Barber half, 1st SLQ, and my 1st crotal bell.

Nice hunt. Really nice finds. Congrats.

You kill it LD. I'd hate to hunt a place behind you. That bucket list gets smaller every hunt. Congrats[emoji106]

love those standing libs. such a beautiful design. I really wish our coinage would return to having images of liberty instead of politicians

Congrats on the great finds! Seems like you've got yourself a fantastic site. Sweet first SLQ also- IMHO SLQ's are the necest coin ever made and finding one is always cool, date or no-date..
