I drive past this farm house everyday on the way home from work. I have stopped and knocked numerous times, but never have gotten an answer. Well today I see the lady on her porch and I whip around and go back. I ask permission and she gladly gives it to me. This place isn't super old but old enough for silver......maybe 1940's.

I went over the front and side yard, got some clad, one wheat and one rosie. Did the other side yard, picked up 3 more wheats and some clad, the marbles were in holes with coins. I get close to the mailbox and get a screaming 02-48 signal from both directions, it is reading 5" deep. I am hoping for silver.

Yep! 3 silver in one hole...wooHOOOO, silver washington, merc, and another silver rosie! Nice 3 silver spill, takes me to 194 silver. Getting 200 is bound to happen now!

Anyday my silver matches my wheat count, I am thrilled.
:hello2:

It was a good day

Sweet spill G4, do you ever have to deal with the dreaded electric fence? I've never had a yard that I could defeat, as long as the elec fence was up and running, EMI curse.

I have a problem with the 2 inch wide electric fence tape stuff(It drives me insane)But not the regular run of the mill wire stuff.
G4E- do you have the pattern you hunt with up any where? I would like to give it a try.

all my settings on listed on my website, as far as my disc pattern. I started with the minelab coin pattern and opened it up a bit more, a LOT around nickel area. I either use that or TTF with a 98% open screen

Nice little pocket spill. Like the marbles too. 200 silvers in one year is great in the year 2011.

good eyeballs spotting the lady on the porch  was worth the screachin 180 ya did in the middle of the road :laughing9:
