View attachment 938433 Was reading up on texas scrappers and found this site. Says these "nueces bifaces" are only found in south tx. But I feel I have seen a few others posted. Any ideas?

Interesting looks like the quartz ones I have found in the past.

her are a few i picked out to show:

i think i posted these last month?.....just some examples of the lithics in the dakotas and montana

a few of the larger ones......quite a few of these got way smaller after continual re-sharpening

the two on the left are a seldom found jasper type called 'spider vein' jasper.....i like the look of them
the two on the right are knife river flint that have the 'pretty blue' kind of patination

these are the back side of the pieces in the previous image

a few nice solid and nicely made KRF examples

There are some crazy nice scrapers on this thread WOW

Here's a good one.. This came from a member in southern Ohio who is no longer on the forum.

And something different here's a couple black glass scrapers I found on a contact period site.
These are extremely difficult to photograph.

I'm not sure this one is a scraper I'm not sure what this one is but for some reason I picture it being used to cut hair... I could probably shave my face with it right now

here are a few scrapers that I have found.

a couple of reworked points

the last 2 pics are the same scraper. the bottom of it has an unusual design on it.

Nice ones where are you located? That looks alot like Tennessee material

Most of my illinois collection perished in a house fire.I have the remainder of the larger pieces left. The points were mostly lost.I dont look at whats left very often due to how it makes me feel.Looking through it today i am surprised at the number of scrapers and adzes i have.Guess i just wrote them of as preforms.

[Red Earth]

The first one is prolly my fave
