Hey everyone,
I went to an old spot today for a short hunt that in the past has provided a mixed bag of old and newer finds. Almost immediately within a foot of each other I scored the quarter, dime, and my first Franklin half!! Shortly after I pulled the war nickel for 4 silvers on the day
They may not be old but my finds pouch sure had a nice ring to it!
Anyways, I got out of there after about 1.5 hours...Some guy was blatantly ignoring the "NO GOLF" sign and was taking full swings driving the ball over 100yds in a park that's about 150yds. His slices were landing in the woods where I was so before he hit me with a golf ball and I hit him with my E-tool I left
I just hope I don't get blamed for the lawn cakes that were flying through the air every time he swung! :P
Thanks for looking everyone and HH out there!!
~Okay, I thought something was strange about this war nickel, it's lighter than a regular war nickel because it's most likely a Henning counterfeit.

I'm sure this is why the 'driving range' was invented! . . . to keep all us metal detectorists from getting hit in the head with a golfball!
