Small but cool silver wings

Went to a new place today. Found 8 wheats ranging from the 30's to the 50's and these small silver wings. Does anyone know what they signify?

Don't think they are military. Maybe from crew of commercial airline. Just a guess.

Actually they are USAAF/USAF Navigators wings issued up to 1951 as per the link that AlabamaRelic provided.

I had the pleasure of watching Todd Lipe (of TNet fame) dig a set of paratrooper wings a few weeks ago. Those look smaller than what he found, but cool none the less!
