Loads of coins and bits today. The Barrel tap is only 45mm long

I did one run on the field opposite before I couldn't dig any more :P I got a mangled jetton!

A few nice finds there shaun I rarely find lead tokens nothing unusuall about the size of the tap mate :P just for a smaller barrel that's all

Are you sure that is a tap...looks like part of a gas lamp for a house...the on/off valve for the gas

Nice find Shaun! These are pretty rare, and as old as any. I found a fancy one too, years ago and didn't know what to think either. Research proved that these taps are used for small kegs of fine BRANDY , rather than the usual ale. This guy had expensive taste!!! Best Regards - fieldslayer
