I found about ten of those tiny snakes on my porch after a rain, a few years ago. but don't remember what they call them. I first thought they were worms. I found it in my snake book, but I am moving and my books are packed away somewhere. I am going to take a wild guess- needle snake

It's a Texas blind snake, AKA worm snake.

Pretty cool huh?

I found it crawling along the concrete, where the wall meets the slab, after I had the sprinklers going. Even though I found the one last spring, I thought this one was a worm at first too.

;) ;) ;)

I found mine on my concrete slab porch in Florida after a heavy rain. They actually eat worms.
