Snakes bad

I heard of hoop snakes, but only ever saw one in Cartoons so I thought just a Joke.

I never heard of a snake growing back together,
I need to take your Word & the word of who ever told you this,
on that Deal :laughing7:

hmmm

Now I better come clean before I get a reputation for gullibility. The tales of the snakes were told to kids and newbys to have some fun & create mystery.
Along with Rattle Snake Island where, when the valley was flooded by the TVA all the rattlers ended up on the island. So when fishing on the lake the teller of the tale makes an excuse for the boat to drift to the island.
Here we have a tale of a mysterious woman named La Jarona that is a spirit and walks the Rio Grande and can cause mischief.
There's another up north who's name I can't remember. Girls blame that one when parents discover her panties are missing.
Writers have books on witchcraft on the Rio Grande. Interesting traditions.

By the way Jeff your not a very good doctor the check has been canceled

Think ill just stick to the antibiotic from doc but thank you for the suggestion and your concern

ok...I don't like antibiotics...unless it is real serious...I have such a weird system...they make me feel like poo..

how did a snake get you in that spot? the wrist or ankle...but the inside of the elbow????

I cured a brown recluse bite with comfrey poultice...healed up in a week an a half...

That's not were it bit me that is the red streak of blood poisoning that was going up my arm the black is where I marked it with a sharpie I got bit in the hand

ouch,, sorry to hear that joe,,like i said even though it did not have " fangs " and inject venom , most snakes still have bacteria and can cause a infection.
good idea to mark it and track the spread rate . hope all ends well .

God's least favorite animal.. the snake.

"So the LORD God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life." Genesis 3:14

If it's non-poisonous, I'll let it go.

I think it's safe to say that the Old Hebrews weren't really cutting-edge biologists.

I suppose by now you have all heard of the Burmese Rock Python that crawled thru the ventilation pipes and suffocated the two kids in Eastern Canada.

Yes I agree nothing worse then a spider web, Mouth high,
as I'm walking through trees & brush.
or the ones with the little green worms hangin' from them.

Tuesday Went to an old mine poor rock pile and pinged on a rock with copper- Picked up the rock and under it was a small black snake.
That woke me up quick. :censored:

I used hate spiders more but after recent events snakes have moved up .

It's weird I used to get bit by snakes as a kid no problem .guess the immune system isn't what it once was
