You have some great quartz and quartzite points there. Love those guilford points. I'll post some of mine if you don't mind my addition!!

Love the quartz and that's a great collection! When I do manage to find something other than pottery shards most the time it's quartz too but the creek is rough on it.

Awesome quartz points! It is such difficult material to work, that we rarely find any up my way that have serrations or notching, even though quartz is the most abundant material at the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay area. It seems the people who made the Guilford points liked the red and yellow quartz and quartzite a lot. Do you guys in SC & NC find many other style points made from the red/yellow quartz material, or is it mainly the guilfords?

And some more QUARTZ and Quartzite! From the mountains of Western North Carolina in Avery County not far from the Tennessee state line...

Wow those are incredible !!!!! Thanks for sharing

Id like to know how your pictures come out so clear when you take them of the quartz SCrocks? Any tips for us on that?

Those are amazing quartz points. We don't find many quartz points in south Georgia and they are usually not very good.

....really pretty quartz arrowheads! The middle one in the second photo almost looks like a "sharks tooth" arrowhead very cool!
