Storms "Hunted Out Park" Trip 7/31....finally some silver!

Well....I went back to the spot where I pulled the 1901 Indian yesterday.  I went back over about 1/2 of the place really sllloooowwwww.  I was all over the place yesterday, but today I went back and forth in straight lines covering this area of the park.  I was swinging for about 4 hours today, but managed to get my 2nd Merc for the year.  1918-S, in around VF-20....But I rim nicked it    So now it is worth melt LOL.

Oh well, Silver is silver and I was happy to pull it from the ground....even if it took me 4 hours LOL

$1.66 in clad also.

That's a sweet Merc storm. I'd be happy with that one for sure. The teen dates as well as S mint marks are very hard for us eastern state dudes.

Looks a lot better than VF! I'd say it was MS or darn close! It still has mint luster on it after all those years underground. Beauty of a coin. Too bad about the nick.
