Summer mining update

[Underburden]

I've posted a few updates on my BLOG so I thought I would share. I've been blessed to have several months on the claim so far this year after a diagnosis of prostate cancer back in May. I'm making the most of my time on the claim as my next treatment will have me parked at home until next summer. My wife (who's in her 60's) is out gunning me on the claim due to side effects of my current treatment. Don't know of many women in their 60's who can keep up :^)
Doctor's appointment tomorrow and then it's back on the claim for who knows how long.

Get Well, I pray your treatments are a success, and you get back on your feet. I just took Mother in law in, very very sick, enjoying personal time before it is too late.

Update

I went and visited with Bob and his wife yesterday.
Bob is still unable to even get on the computer; so another round of positive thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated!
Bob is showing improvement but progress is slow so far.

Thanks to all that 'like' this post or even just take the time to send some positive thoughts Bobs way!

My condition was more than an ear infection. I had a stroke a week after we got home from the claim. It caused me to have double vision so I'm wearing an eye patch to keep my dizziness down to a manageable level. My prostate cancer is being treated with another hormone shot. No surgery so soon after a stroke.

Glad you made it through all that and that you're back. You have been missed!

Eye patches suck. I remember mine...I was smoking back then, laying on the couch with the ashtray on the floor. I didn't know I was missing it till I smelled carpet burning as I put the cigg out.
