Went to my CU that I hadn't stopped in for a while and my favorite teller tells me she's been holding something for me. I about passed out when she pulled out this for me.

Here is a quick pic. I'll give more details of dates etc when I get a chance later today or tomorrow. I am still shaking.

I was more surprised as I hadn't been in since july. So her holding and collecting for me was epic. I'll be dropping off some Sees Candies for her next week. There is almost $17 in face there.

incredible, good for you!! glad it got into the hands of somebody who appreciates it!! Buy that teller a nice gift card($25 or $50+) to a local restaurant for her and her family, that's the least one can do for such a nice "gift". I would personally give a $50+ gift card.

sweet finds on the 38d... perhaps a $100 gift card and a box of chocolates? i would give that in a heart beat considering the pile is worth WAAAY more than that.

if you have 17 dollars face value and right now times that by 24 you have about 400 dollars worth of silver. wow and double wow. Congrats and definitely get that teller something nice.

Sincerely,
Garoulady

Close to $400 in melt. Not counting the value of the 38d or the 37s. Those red book at roughly $120 and $35. The walker only had 462 thousand minted so it would bring a higher premium is my guess.

I'll definatley be dropping off some nice goodies for her. She has always treated me well. I was just surprised like I said I hadn't been in there since roughly July. Been super busy with work and life.
